![]() Simply open Safari, then tap and hold the tab button, which looks like two squares overlapping each other. If you want to view two websites simultaneously on an iPhone, you can do it with the help of the Safari browser. Here are the ways to split-screen on an iPhone: With the release of iOS 13, Apple introduced a new way of multitasking on an iPhone, which includes the ability to split the screen in certain circumstances. However, this feature was not available on an iPhone until recently. Split screen allows you to run two applications side-by-side, making it easier to multitask and increase productivity. and at times often isn't always hitting the mark, it can sometimes be overly aggressive. One of the most awaited features on an iPhone is split screen capability. Which Apple is mostly doing computationally. It's there to, in theory, help improve the images you're already taking by providing more pixels to get more light information from and other little tricks.Īnd I don't really remember people asking for higher MPs anyway, just continuously improving images. The 48MP camera is not giving you a 48MP image (unless you're shooting RAW which most consumers won't be). And people are taking a dislike to it as they think AOD should be "turn everything but basic information off". People have been asking for those things for ages, specifically AOD!Īnd Apple's implementation of both is very different and very controlled compared to Android, for better or worse.Īpple looked at AOD, saw a display that is mostly switched off and thought "if we do this we want the display actually on". It would be like using an iPad 2 and believing you can give an educated opinion of the multitasking system on iPadOS. So no, your opinion on this issue is in no way relevant. ![]() One UI is currently up to version 4.1.1, with 5 being in beta. The S8 is running the original version of One UI. So yes my opinion still stands and is based on factual evidence. More so, the S8 also has oneUI as do the newer phones. Pixel density isn't a relative factor when screen and font scaling have been independent attributes on Android for a long time now. My S8 even had better pixel density (570ppi/500/425) source So if anything, the newer devices have a WORSE experience as they have less information density. Safe to say that I have a bit more knowledge on the current behaviour of this feature than you do. You're using a more than five year old device running a version of Android that is four versions out of date at best, while I'm using their current flagship device.
